Job Description:

  • As a lead manager you will be responsible for the global automation platform that helps deliver automations using RPA. In addition, you’ll lead the innovation into new cognitive services that augment basic RPAYou will leverage leadership, process-driven, analytical, technical and value management skills to manage a team that builds and maintains RPA platform, delivers new innovative solutions. Engage with multiple SI, Start-ups and key cloud providers to understand capabilities and deliver solutions to business problems.You will work closely with AF LT to define the strategy for the short, medium and long term. Based on this strategy, you will create plan to operationalize and implement it on the ground.You will responsible to ensure smooth operations of the RPA platform across teams and deliver multiple cognitive solutions in the space of chatbots, OCR, Vision and ML.As senior member of Automation Factory for our global organization, you will be responsible to drive and deliver high quality automation solutions across multiple business functions or geographies.  
  • Areas of focus involve
    • Platform expansion and maintenance
    • Working with key RPA vendors like BP, AA and UiPath
    • Cognitive solutions in the space of Chatbots, OCR, Image and Video Analytics and ML
    • Partner with multiple geographies and functions to create demand and deliver cognitive solutions
    • Continuously have an inward and outward view of emerging technologies in the digital space
    • Create distinct and differentiated capabilities for Unilever to leverage and deliver new age solutions at speed and optimized cost.
    • Collaborates with key stakeholders in executing the platform responsibilities, to develop clear architecture plans, driving towards the appropriate balance of cost, risk and quality, and effectively and consistently communicates this to stakeholders.
    • Sets platform direction, builds consensus, mediates conflicts, and helps to create an environment which solicits positive contributions from all participants, including operations teams, project managers, business analysts, test teams, Information Security Compliance, Business Risk/compliance etc.
    • Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex business requirements from real world scenarios and the ability to translate them into actionable target architectures, readily understood models and architectural plans.
    • Deep technical proficiency while having the ability to keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
    • Ability to identify, prioritize and weigh different options, balancing business, cost and technology priorities to determine a best solution.
    • Leadership capability to motivate, inspire and lead a group of automation experts to create and maintain world class automation platform using tools like BluePrism, Automation Anywhere and UiPath. Also, leveraging the cloud solutions to develop world-class microservices and serverless solutions
    • Collaborate with product vendors to find solution to critical problems and liaise on product enhancements
    • Strong business facilitation skills and acumen needed to help business leaders and program managers understand how to apply complex IT/Architecture concepts to solve problems.
    • Create and execute a technology and maturity road map for AF-Platform to meet organizational targets
  • People Management:
    • Effectively lead the members of the Automation Factory (including third party support) Platform and Cognitive Services
    • Establish methods for knowledge management and skills enhancement.
    • Responsible for all resources within the respective group, their optimal utilization and professional development.
    • Personnel management and active development of the team to work independently.
    • Translate complex strategic and tactical plans into operational goals for the operations team
  • Qualifications
    • Post graduation in Management is must
    • Adept with leading solutions in the space of intelligent automation
    • Rich experience in driving automation solutions while working with both senior management as well as operations managers. 
  • Experience 
    • The candidate should have technically strong skills and rich domain experience with the ability to drive the teams. She/he should bring in strong and specialist operational leadership; process orientation and experience in implementation of standardized concepts. 
      Exposure to performance measurement, continuous improvement (Lean / Six-Sigma/Agile)
    • Ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead participant
    • Ability to take on complex assignments as the lead, and assume increasingly greater leadership roles/responsibilities
